Agaricus Blazei Extract
Agaricus blazei Murill (subrufescens) is an edible, medicinal mushroom with characteristic, somewhat sweet taste and the fragrance of almonds, that has traditionally been used against a wide range of diseases, including cancer, chronic hepatitis and diabetes.
Agaricus mushroom is a fungus. It originated in Brazil, but is now grown in China, Japan, and Brazil for sale. A solution containing chemicals that are taken from the plant (extract) is used as medicine.
Agaricus mushroom is also consumed as food and tea.
