Description
Hydroxystearic acid is a naturally derived fatty acid. Acts as an emulsifier and surfactant and is prepared by the hydrolysis of hydrogenated castor oil and has high melting point. It is non-toxic, non-hazardous and provides resistance to moisture. Melting point: 72-78�C
Use
Add to oil phase of emulsions. Typical use level 0.1 – 4%. For external use only.
